Other than that the Adapter and app is excellent and well worth the money This is the one to purchase for your BMW if you have an iPhone. I originally ordered this direct, slightly cheaper, but the seller cancelled the order and advised me that the Amazon supplied product was cheaper, this was incorrect, so lost a star. Other than that the Adapter and app is excellent and well worth the money, I have so far registered a replacement battery, saved me a lot of money having this done at the garage. The only item to avoid from In App purchases are (if you have the petrol model) the DPF as obviously this is for a diesel car and be careful before purchasing the iDrive In App purchase as this appears only to be valid for later E90 series cars etc with the newer CCC computer (HDD Sat Nav), not the older CIC (DVD Sat Nav), the guidance on their website doesn’t make this crystal clear.

The Perfect BMW diagnostic and modding tool. If you want BMW modding and diagnostic bragging rights then get one of these.Just fantastic! Allows so many modifications to your car that BMW would charge the earth for. Also its great to list all the faults that are happening behind the scenes.Perfect if you are going to buy a second hand BMW and want to know the truth! :)Don’t get any cheaper units as they can’t communicate at the correct speed and only partially work. Also note that when normal OBD diagnostics shows nothing – this will show a ton of things. Its just amazing! A BMW workshop in your hand 🙂

‘Like a Charm’ Very impressed with this, used it on my 2007 Mini cooper s JCW, works like a charm.lots of options to change, comfort windows, internal/external light timings etc.make sure you are happy to pay the price for the full version of the App ON TOP OF THE PRICE for this adaptor before purchase. £35 on iPhone when I ordered this.make sure you search for the device in the WIFI devices list not the Bluetooth devices list on your phone 😉 – woops
