Gearbox drain plug Golf V 2.0 TDI Gearbox drain plug was supposed to be a 17mm allan key according to the manual. It turned out actually to need this special security bit. It’s very good quality, and worked a treat.
Essential for removing VW gearbox drain plugs Essential for properly removing and replacing the drain plug on a VW T5 Transporter gearbox, and many other VW models. The hollow centre is essential to fit the security drain plug. The alternative is to crudely use mole grips with no ability to correctly torque up on replacement, this tool is well worth the money.
Great tool Does exactly what it says. High quality tool from Draper. I change my transmission oil on a regular basis. Don’t believe VW’s view that the oil is in for life. Utter rubbish. Get one of these if you own a VAG car and get changing or your trany will fail!
