This slick (barely SF) psycho-thriller plays out both in the outer and inner worlds as the complex narrative challenges us with its ambiguities, half-truths and downright lies, very reminiscent at times of Christopher Nolan’s Inception. The main protagonists are excellent with a remarkable chemistry between Strong and Farmiga, and while the former gives his usual quality performance as the detective…
What lies inside a twisted mind… Mindscape comes close to being a wicked little psychothriller, with great performances from Mark Strong as the psychic memory investigator and his client, played by Tassia Fermiga. The convoluted story revolves around her troubled teenage character, and she’s neatly played as being innocent in one moment… somewhat sinister the next.
