Yes this does fit mk1 focus I have a mk1 Ford Focus (hatchback) some said it does fit and other no. I found guide online and decided to take a punt. YES the does fit a mk1 Ford Focus. It took me about 20 minutes and was quite simple to fix with the right tools. The only issue was that the torx bolts supplied are T50 and the sockets on the car are T40 and as other mention there is no instructions in the kit. The one thing to check to mk1 installation is that your car must have the bolt holes. To check yours pull up your rear seats and feel/look under the bottom of the back part of the seat and there you should have black plugs in place which cover the bolt sockets. Great buy!!!! Very good and easy enough to fix. I struggled a little screwing the bolts in due to it being metal into metal but managed it by turning the Allen key with pliers. Great price to. Well worth doing it yourself instead of paying huge garage prices. I was 8months pregnant when I fixed mine so just shows you how easy it was!!
