compatible bobbins Since I have to travel miles and miles to the shop where I bought my sewing machine – or go to London – it was a relief to find some compatible bobbins for my Jenome machine. They are identical to the originals and fit perfectly and were very good value. Hooray for Amazon!
not a standard size for all machines What can you say about plastic bobbins? Well I have a Singer 9836C which is not computerised and is about 15 years old. (A wonderful workhorse). I have always bought bobbins in a shop for ‘Singer’ and never had a problem. They are 2cm width and 8mm high….BUT…… Although these are embossed with ‘singer’ on them, they do not work in my machine.(Hence the loss of a star for the lack of information from the seller).
