Description
The included CD’s OBD2 system makes it easy to install the device’s driver and OBD-II Software which allows you to use your PC and the hardware interface to get the information from your car’s computer.
The program is very user-friendly, and easy to learn. The package includes software for reading and resetting codes.
The processor is compatible with the AT command set for the widest compatibility with freeware and commercial programs written for the ELM series of interface chips from Elm Electronics.
The connection to the computer is via WiFi serial port.

Please note that the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad do not work with any Bluetooth scanners and requires a special wifi scanner.

Excellent diagnostic tool for any diy’er I already own a similar OBD2 reader although it is a USB version. Every time I needed to connect it to my car I had to take my laptop out so was not very convenient. This one works on Wifi so you can easily use it with your phone. It works very well with both free and PRO versions of Torque on Android. It makes it easy to check and clear the error codes from your car. You can also have fancy dashboards while driving that give you various information about the car. It should work with all vehicles that support OBD and it worked fine with my Mondeo. Unit was very easy to pair with the phone and required no password or any code. For that reason I would not leave it permanently plugged in to your car if you do not want anyone to mess about with it. Scanner has flashing LEDs to show operation.
